BERKELEY - The 2013 Cal football schedule will kick off with three consecutive non-conference home games at Memorial Stadium against Northwestern (Aug. 31), Portland State (Sept. 7) and Ohio State (Sept. 14) with Thursday's announcement of the game against the Vikings. The Northwestern and Ohio State contests had been previously announced.

Cal will have a total of seven home games on its 2013 docket, also playing Pac-12 opponents Arizona, Oregon State, USC and Washington State at Memorial Stadium. The Golden Bears will be on the road in conference play at Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.

The Pac-12 is expected to announce dates for all conference games in early January. All television broadcast information and kickoff times will be announced at later dates.

Cal football season-ticket renewals will take place during a new timeframe for the upcoming 2013 season. Fans will have a six-week window from Dec. 17 - Jan. 31 to renew. Season-ticket holders will receive complete renewal, pricing, benefits and seat upgrade event information during the coming weeks.

Fans who wish to become new season ticket holders for 2013 are encouraged to place a $100 per-seat deposit now to guarantee a seat selection time at the upgrade event in early winter.

In addition, Cal and San Diego State jointly announced Thursday a home-and-home series between the schools in 2015 and 2016. The Aztecs will visit Memorial Stadium on Sept. 12, 2015, while the Bears are scheduled to play at Qualcomm Stadium on Sept. 10, 2016. Cal previously announced a home-and-home series with Texas in 2015 and '16.
