The 15th-ranked women's basketball team got back to business tonight, kicking off their season with an exhibition game in Haas Pavillion vs. Vanguard University.
As expected, the Bears cruised to an easy victory 98-57 behind a balanced scoring attack and stifling defense.
The Bears were led by Reshanda Gray (19 points, 4 rebounds), Talia Caldwell (17 points, 7 rebounds), Gennifer Brandon (16 points, 11 rebounds), Brittany Boyd (16 points, 6 assists) and Layshia Clarendon (13 1st half points).
