Keenan Allen Out for Friday’s Game against Washington

during the Golden Bears’ contest at Utah on Oct. 27, head coach Jeff Tedford confirmed Thursday.

“Keenan won’t play against Washington,” Tedford said. “We’ll continue to evaluate him on a weekly basis.”

The timing is difficult for the Bears as they cling to slim hopes to qualify for a bowl with six wins.

Freshman receiver Chris Harper will likely fill Allen's starting slot on Friday.
