In a bit of a helter-skelter media event today, we met with Offensive Coordinator Jim Michalczik, Defensive Coordinator Clancy Pendergast, and Cal coach Jeff Tedford.
As the team first emerged from the stadium north tunnel after practice on their way to the locker room, coach Michalczik stopped by the media area and spoke to us briefly as we all waited for the usual first interviewee - Jeff Tedford - to emerge.
So as Michalczik hurriedly spoke - perhaps a bit more candidly than he does when he has more time to compose thoughts - Tedford lurked in the background speaking with others who were passing by.
