As I recall, Notre Dame & Cal played to a 31-31 tie. The #8 seed & the officiating killed us. Cal obviously could have handled this small ST Bonaventure team. They have one 6-1 post player and the Fighting Irish are going inside time after time....GO BEARS!

ND 64 SB 23 with 8 min left. How in God'sname did the NCAA seeding committee put St. Bonnies at 5 and us at 8. I hope they feel as stupid as they look right now.

BearBloke was just uttering that very observation (although I'm afraid he now refers to N.D. as Our Lady of Chicanery).

And Cal played N.D. on their home court, too. The more I think about the past season's ups and downs, the more I admire our players and their coaches.

That one finished ND 79 St. B 35. If the Selection Committee got nothing else right, like Cal, they did call the top seeds. So far three 1 seeds and three 2 seeds are in the round of 8, with the remaining 1 seed U Conn leading and the remaining 2 seed Kentucky yet to play.
