USC's running attack is really pretty bad. Aside from QB sneaks, they had 23 rushes for 78 yards. Their passing attack is above average. Above average QB, average pass catching WRs, but excellent WRs running after the catch. Overall an OK offense. But their pass defense is just horrible. It may be the worst in the PX. Cal needs to put up 250+ yards passing against USC to keep their defense from keying on Vereen. If we can do that, I think Cal wins.
